Sakura

There are Japanese cherries in University of Washington. They are at their best right now!

Cherry twigs are sagging all the more for spring rain, as if they were weeping cherry trees'.
Cherry blossom is really impressive! Every year I see it, I am strongly convinced.
I didn't expect that I could enjoy cherry blossom in the States.

  1. Beautiful photos of cherry blossoms. In Vancouver we have a nice park that held special events last weekend to celebrate the cherry blossoms. We weren't able to attend but saw some photos of a tea ceremony being done in the park, and we thought of you and your training in Japan. Congratulations on getting the new job. You really turned a bad experience into a profound learning opportunity -- it is hard to 'sell' yourself in an interview, but it's necessary. And you put your knowledge to very good use. All the best as spring finally begins to come to the Nothwest.
