When I feel I am less poor than before (1)

I had a chance to pass by a cafe which an elderly man runs, making hand-made waffles, on the way back home from swimming. I bought 3 waffles ($2.5) and 2 croissants($1.75). I paid almost $10 for bread and waffles. It is expensive for waffles and croissants but we can afford this now! The croissants were very tasty but waffles were so-so. 
おじいさんが作る手作りワッフルが美味しいというお店の近くを土曜の朝の水泳の帰りに寄ってみた。ワッフル（＄2.5×3個）とクロワッサンを（＄1.75×2個）買った。こんなんで＄10もした。高っけーな・・・と思ったけど、それでも今は全然家計に影響しない。クロワッサン超おいしかった。ワッフルはまぁ普通。
