Snow

We had heavy snow. This amount is rare for Seattle. It is beautiful but troublesome when it gets icy and stumped by shoes.

シアトルに初雪です。今回のはかなり珍しい積雪量だそうです。きれいだけど、踏み固められてつるつるになるとやっかいです。 

Buses are messed up. Seattle is hilly so it is not a good idea to take a bus on a snowy day.　　　　　　　　　　　　　　                                                  バスもつるつるすべっちゃって、交通が麻痺しています。シアトルは坂が多いので雪の日にバスに乗ることは明らかにやめたほうがいいらしいです。

I don't understand why American snow men needs to consist of three snow balls. I don't think they need three like the bodies of insects.　　　　　　　　　　　　　　アメリカの雪だるまは雪玉3つから成るようで、納得いきません。昆虫じゃないんだから、2つでいいと思うんですけどっ。

We are having more snow tonight and tomorrow.　I heard some companies already made up their mind to shut down for all this week!
今夜から明日にかけてさらに降るらしく、雪になれていないシアトル住民は、会社によってはすでに一週間休みを言い渡しているところもあるようです。
